Willow wiped the mud off her shoes as she sat on her cart. The cart had taken most of her money, and her last possecions. It was large, and doubled as her bed. The mid-day sun was right above her head. She pulled out the map from her cart. It was muddy also, and some parts were torn. Willow peered at it closely.
"Maybe I went the wrong turn there," she murmured, her finger tracing a line on the old parchment. "Or I took the wrong path there," she poked the crossroads. She sighed, slightly frustrated. Oh well. Maybe there was a village around here some where...
Willow sat on her cart, wiping the mudd off her feet. She sighed. It was a day since she last seen any civilzation. She pulled out a water skin, and drank some. Willow frowned at the condition of the roads. It was all muddy! How was a traveller supposed to walk? She huffed, and decided that it was a good time as any to eat lunch. Willow found a dry spot under some shade, and steered her cart over. She began cutting bread and meat.

Etain walked around, not feeling any need for spying. Well, at least for today there wasn't any reason. But, she didn't like the fact that Krain wasn't there. It seemed odd to her that he wasn't with her. But, then again, they were almost together. So, she'll live with it. Etain looked at the land. It looked...queer. She checked her boots, too muddy. She didn't like it one bit.
Etain walked on. As she walked along the hidden trail, the sound of a cart was heard to her ears. 'Why would anyone want to come in this swampy place in the first place?' she thought. Feeling curious, she continued down the trail until the cart sound was louder. At last, she had come across a girl. Younger than her, she could tell. 'Why, she had the cart.' Etain thought. It was an intresting sight.

Willow looked up to see a young woman older than her watching her."Want some bread and ham?" she asked eagerly and cheerfully. She stored the fact that the stranger was watching her silently for later. She never bothered with the confusing facts untill later. She poured some cider in a mug, and handed it to the stranger. She cut some meat and bread, and stuffed in some cheese. She looked around, until she spied a bush of berries. She inspected them, and smiled. they were edible.
Willow handed these to the stranger."How'd you come buy here?," she asked cheerfully."I got lost, pretty sad, really," she said.

Etain didn't have enough to answer, and so she pretended to be a nice person, as much as she could anyway. "I was....walking around.." Etain answered. It was a lie more than it was true. But she went along with it anyway. "To get lost, this is a pretty big place, isn't it?" she asked.

"Yep, it sure is! If you were walking around, that meant you live 'round here, right?" she asked. She bit into another snadwich she had made for herself, and chewed. "How d'you like living here?" she wondered why this stranger would pick here, of all places to be walking around in. She pulled out her map. She took it over to the girl. "D'you know how to get here?" she asked, pointing her finger at her destination.
